Are you obsessed with fashion and beauty? If the answer is yes, then there is a high chance that you spend a fair amount of time trying to make sure that whatever you are wearing is fashionable. It was once thought that fashion is reserved for people who work in fashion and does not really concern the general public. With changing times, more women have become concerned as to whether their outfits are fashionable. However, who really sets the trends and decides what is in vogue? Have you ever wondered why some colors, styles and accessories suddenly become a favorite among everyone around you?

Fashion designers and legendary fashion houses, such as Prada, Gucci and Chanel, lead the way in influencing women's perception of fashion. These designers create trend-setting fashion and are able to gain a wider appeal through fashion exhibitions, shows and magazine photo-shoots that display their collection. Even though some of their designs may seem outrageous, the brand appeal attracts people to adapt the themes into outfits that may be worn in daily routine.

These days many women, and men alike, seek external validation. Most of our actions are influenced by what others may think about us, rather than our own comfort level. Even though some fashion vistas advise people that they should be comfortable with what they are wearing and not pay heed to the way others judge them, few are brave enough to ignore the intense public scrutiny. Nonetheless, some rational consumers also look for comfort, durability, and adaptability in their outfits. They view their dress as a form of creative expression that informs others about their ideas, beliefs, and attitudes. It is these customers who decide the fashion trends. Fashion designers are forced to follow their preferences and shape the market demands. They seek greater consumer involvement to come up with fashionable colors and designs, which soon hit the stores after hectic marketing efforts. Some of these designs may be pricey because of the efforts that go into making them. However, ultimately it is the customer who decides in a free market economy. Women decide what they want to wear. Only a style statement that reflects the attitude of the wearer and provides her comfort will truly be fashionable.

Certain beauty products — think NARS blush in Orgasm, Clinique's Black Honey lipstick — are so good, they're practically famous. And, while we do love so many of those well-known, well-loved products, we've been wondering why others have been quietly flying under the radar. With that in mind, meet our new beauty series, Cult Classics, in which we'll introduce you to the products you really, truly should know about (and try, like, right now). They're not brand new, but trust us: They've got staying power.

As women that grew up in the era of "oil-free everything," we confess that, at times, we have feared thick or heavy moisturizers. Breakouts are a major bummer, so rather than risk a throbbing zit, we spent years using only the lightest lotions to smooth out our mugs — and, if we experienced tightness or flaking, well, at least we weren't blotchy and red.

Everything changed when we came across this innocent-looking green tube during Fashion Week many seasons ago. We soon realized that almost every single makeup artist, regardless of brand association, stashed a tube or two of this curiously named balm in their kit. We knew some sleuthing was in order — and sure enough, our eyes have been opened.

Skin Food is a super-duper-extra-thick cream created by Weleda, an all-natural (read: stocked primarily by health food stores), biodynamic skin care line that has been a secret favorite of celebs for decades. Housed in an aluminum toothpaste-esque tube, the cream is so thick that it's actually difficult to squeeze out — meaning, it seems like it's way too thick to put on your face. And, the brand agrees: The balm is marketed for dry spots such as hands, feet, and elbows. But, we beg to differ.

If you're brave enough to rub this thick goo on your face, you will be richly rewarded with the happiest skin of your life. Seriously. While some conventional face creams are filled with icky ingredients like petroleum and silicone, this moisturizer is packed with only the purest and most complexion-nourishing ingredients (hence the "food" in the name) — think pansy extract, sweet almond oil, calendula extract, and hydrolyzed beeswax — so you can rest assured that there is no evil pore-blocking going on.

Yes, the formula does take a bit of time to sink into your skin (if you're worried about the cream sinking in before applying your makeup, use it at night), but once your face drinks it up, it won't feel greasy at all — just perfectly, utterly balanced. And, it will stay that way all day come hell, high water, or polar vortex. It's that good.

So, if your face has been hating winter as much as ours have been, trust us and treat yo'self to some all-natural pampering (for only $19 — score!). We promise that you'll get over your fear of heavy moisturizers forever.

These days, just about every hairstyle seems to be in fashion at once -- long, short, in-between, Beatles-like locks, Mohawks, ponytails, and military buzz cuts.

Some men wear one style at work (parted and combed conservatively to the side) and another (spiked up with styling gel, for instance) when they go out. No matter how you style your hair, a few products can help you look your best.

Men’s Shampoos

For cleaning, just about any basic shampoo will do. "There are dozens of brands with all kinds of things -- like botanicals and antioxidants -- added. But there’s no real evidence that one is better than another," dermatologist Dee Anna Glaser, MD, says. "If you like the smell and feel of the shampoo you’re using, that’s all you need to care about."

Dandruff Shampoos

A special shampoo is important if you have dandruff. Not sure if you’re a candidate? If combing your hair releases a flurry of white flakes, you probably need it.

"Dandruff may be an overreaction to normal yeast found on the skin that leads to inflammation of the scalp and flaking," dermatologist Carolyn Jacob, MD, says. Dandruff shampoos can quickly relieve the problem.

Products on the market contain a wide variety of active ingredients, including ketoconazole, salicylic acid, zinc, selenium sulfide, and tar. Experts say all of them are equally effective.

Use a dandruff shampoo three to four times a week for a month. "If your dandruff isn’t under control, switch to a product with a different active ingredient," Jacob says. Make an appointment with your doctor if flakiness persists. You may need a prescription-strength dandruff shampoo.

Hair Conditioners for Men

Conditioners, like shampoos, come in a confounding number of formulas. All work the same way -- by coating your hair so that it’s less likely to tangle. Conditioners that promise to add extra body simply add more coating.

"If you have straight or very short hair, you probably don’t have to use a conditioner at all, or you can get away with using a combination shampoo/conditioner," Glaser says. "But if you have curly, kinky, or long hair, you may want to take the time to use a separate conditioner."

Experiment with different brands until you find one you like. In many cases, inexpensive brands perform just as well as pricier products.

SPF Sun Protection for Men

Thinning hair and bald spots are more than just a blow to your vanity. They also increase your exposure to damaging ultraviolet rays, which can cause premature aging of the skin and increase your risk of skin cancer.

"Most men know they should use sunscreen, but they often forget to think about their scalps," Jacob says.

Look for sunscreen lotions with an SPF of 30 or more if you have distinct bald spots.

If you have thin spots and don’t want to put lotion on your head, look for sunscreen in spray form. Or buy hairspray and styling gel with SPF protection built in.

Products containing minoxidil, the medicine shown to reverse thinning hair, are now available over-the-counter. Unfortunately, most men need prescription-strength formulas to see real results. Even prescription forms of the drug work in only about half the men, Glaser says, and usually they take about six months to show results. If they do work, you have to continue using them indefinitely.

Try using an extra-body conditioner and a little dab of styling gel to make a thinning patch look a little thicker.

Styling Gels for Men

Another way to give hair body and shape is using a styling gel. Men’s hair care companies have flooded the market with different varieties of styling gels and waxes. Here are the main choices:

Water-based gels consist of polymers that form a film around individual hairs, making them easier to shape.
Spray gels deliver tiny droplets of polymers.
Pomades are oil-based and give hair added shine.
Hair waxes clump individual hairs together to create a firmer hold.
Paste is a combination of oil and wax.
Hair creams blend oil, wax, and polymers for maximum control.
Whatever you choose, use the product sparingly, especially if you have thinning hair.

A little bit goes a long way, stylist Julio Rodriquez, owner of Jules Cooper Color & Design in Montclair, N.J., says. He recommends starting with a dime-shaped amount in the palm of your hand.

Look for a styling gel without alcohol if you have trouble with dry scalp and dandruff. Alcohol tends to cause dryness.

Among the most basic of skin care routines that beauty consultants face queries about are facial tips and tricks to rejuvenate, tone and make the face supple and serene. How to bring back the glow is the question foremost on the minds of most men and women considering getting a facial done.
The Importance of a Facial

The best facial is one that constitutes use of natural ingredients because they contain all of the essential vitamins that the skin needs and are able to revitalize it without the worry of harsh chemical additives that can affect the balance of the skin. For dry skins, there is a whole wide range of special facial care oils that nourish and care for the skin while giving great results almost instantly. Beauticians opine that facial care is one of the most important stages in any person, especially a woman’s, everyday routine. The easy availability of different types of facial masks and creams has come as a boon for all those desiring a flawless complexion by ridding themselves of acne and blackheads. For such persons, facial masks are a real find as they help to achieve the correspondence to the conventional standards of beauty.
Facial Tips and Tricks:

* Choosing a facial mask requires one to pay keen attention to the skin type and purchase a facial mask in accordance with the skin’s needs. These few minutes dedicated to finding the right kind of facial mask is what will spell the difference for the freshened and revitalized look to your face.
* The other great benefit of commercially available facial masks is that they require minimum effort on your part as all the beautification, detoxification and exfoliation work is done by the active ingredients of the facial masks.
* A facial mask is a unique and instantaneous way to complement the daily skin care routine and adds to the breathing power granted to the pores of the skin when combined with the beauty regime of cleansing, toning and moisturizing.
* Whether your facial is the mask variety or cream-and-wash kind, take care that it must not be done too frequently as this can endanger the ph balance of your skin. Applying a facial mask should be restricted to a weekly procedure and correspond to your skin type to ensure the most positive beautifying effect to your face.
* If you have a dry skin, look for facials that will replenish the moisture needed by your facial skin and go in for products that offer coco or shea butter, lanolin, Vaseline, natural or scented fruit or nut-extract oils for extra nourishment. Fruit extracts like strawberry, peach, apricot and banana with milk components are believed to rejuvenate and hydrate dry skin.
* Choose a facial that will soften the upper derma layers and improve its color, clean and contract, intensify circulation of blood so you get that healthy, youthful glow on your face.
* Always thoroughly cleanse your skin to receive the maximum benefit of a home facial and include the neck area for massaging and treating during a facial too!

facial is a cleans, exfoliates and nourishes the skin to promote clear, well-hydrated skin. A facial is the second most popular spa service after massage. It is sometimes called a “deep-cleansing facial” or or “deep-pore cleansing” facial because of extractions.

facial

Facial supplies.
Facial cleanser
facial mask for your skin type
cotton pads
moisturizer
facial steamer OR pot of hot water

Step 1…

Before you begin, (if you don’t have a facial steamer), put a
pot of water on the stove to heat up.

Remove all eye makeup.
Then cleanse your face with a gentle face wash, using your
fingers to lightly massage it into your skin. Rinse with lukewarm
water…

Step 2…

When the water on the stove is just short of boiling, pour it into
a basin or your sink. Lean over the water, which should be actively
steaming, and position your face about six inches above it.

Allow the steam to envelop your face. This loosens clogs in pores. For more
intense steaming, drape a towel over your head so it forms a tent
over the basin. Steam for five minutes…

Step 3…

Dab any moisture from your face with a towel. Then, use your fingers
to apply a mask for your skin type to your face.

Avoid the eye area.Lie down, close your eyes, breathe deeply, and give the mask 20 minutes
to work…

Step 4…

When the time is up, use wet cotton pads to remove the mask. Be
gentle and careful to not pull your skin. Pat skin dry…
Step 5: Pour a nickel-size amount of moisturizer into one hand and
rub palms together to warm it. Then, use your fingers to massage
the lotion into your skin. It may help (and be more pleasurable!)
to close your eyes and concentrate on the contours of your face while
you massage…

Step 6…

Allow your now-glowing skin to breathe, free of makeup, for the rest
of the day…

Tips For Men In Winter Season In Urdu For Face In English for Hair Tumblr In Hindi And Tricks In Tamil In Urdu for Fail Colour For Face Whitening

Tips For Men In Winter Season Biography

Source Google.com.pk

Despite our best efforts to believe otherwise, winter is well on its way. As the mercury drops, it’s important for guys to change up their skincare regimen to reflect dropping temperatures, decreased humidity and deceptively high UV levels (yes, even in winter you can get a sunburn). With that in mind, we’ve assembled this list of 5 key elements on skincare that every guy should focus on, and the perfect products to get the job done.

Exfoliate

Although skin cells slow down their production during colder months, it’s still essential to exfoliate throughout the winter months. We recommend exfoliating once a week to allow for the removal or dirt and dead skin cells while avoiding irritation or increased oil production of your skin. An added benefit of weekly exfoliation is that it preps the skin for a closer shave and greatly reduces the risk of ingrown hairs.
Jack Black’s ‘Face Buff Energizing Scrub’ is a great product with added vitamin C & menthol to awaken and sooth tired looking skin. Available at Sephora for only $18 USD.

Moisturize

Daily moisturizing is key all year, but it’s especially important when the air turns cold and humidity levels plummet. A high-quality moisturizer will keep skin looking tight and youthful immediately, while helping to reduce signs of aging and sun-damage over the years. A lot of guys baulk at the cost of some moisturizers, but you’d be surprised at how long a single bottle will last and what a difference it can make in your appearance and personal comfort. Even if the sun might not be on your mind in the winter, it’s important to consider getting a moisturizer with a moderate SPF rating. Even when it’s cold out, the sun’s UV rays can be substantial, especially if reflected off snow or ice. If you’re worried about your skin type, check out our article on Top Men’s Moisturizers for a type-by-type breakdown of recommendations.
kiehls facial fuel spf Top Winter Skincare Tips For Men
Our personal favorite at EG is Kiehl’s ‘Facial Fuel’ SPF15 moisturizer. It’s non-oily and fast-absorbing, plus the SPF rating means that you skin will maintain some color while being protected. Available at Kiehl’s for $25USD.

Lip Service

There are few things more aggravating than dry, cracked lips on a cold day; especially when preventing them is so easy and inexpensive. Just like with facial moisturizer, the inclusion of some SPF rating is important here since the skin on your lips is relatively fine and susceptible to damage.
EvolutionMAN has a great lip balm that we’ve been testing out all summer. With an SPF rating of 15 it’s up to the task of protection. Plus, it has the added aesthetic benefit of a masculine matte-black package, so no one’s going to be mistaking this for your girlfriend’s chapstick. Available at EvolutionMAN for $10.

Eyecare

The skin surrounding your eyes is quite literally paper-thin, so it requires a little extra love to keep from making you look like you’re decades older than you are. Now, eye creams are generally more expensive than your standard moisturizers, but it’s important to keep in mind that you only ever apply very small amounts so a little goes a long way. Also, the skin around your eyes is the first thing people tend to notice, so it goes a long way towards looking your best when you take the time to properly care for it.
We like this eye cream from Anthony Logistics, which works to reduce puffiness, dark circles and strengthens skin over extended use. Available now at Sephora for $28.

Body

Although not as sensitive as the areas mentioned above, your body will feel the effects of the long winter months and without proper care the dry conditions will take their toll. We recommend maintaining your usual cleansing regimen – whether that be bodywash, bar soap, whatever – but adding in daily moisturizing if you already don’t. Nothing fancy here, any pharmacy product will do the job. Just make sure it doesn’t have added fragrances which can cause you to smell like lilacs or bubblegum, and irritate your skin.

Bronzer

Here at the EG offices, the jury has a verdict: a guy shouldn’t give in to using self-tanners during those dark winter months, ever. Rarely do they provide a realistic or consistent final result. The tips and products mentioned above may not give you a bronze glow, but they’ll help your skin look lively and healthy, which is better than any tan-in-a-bottle. A tan should be achieved on a beach with a beer in your hand, not in your bathroom or a strip-mall salon.

It’s vital to take extra good care of your skin while you’re traveling. Just because you are away from home, it’s not an excuse to ignore your skin!
Here are some tips to keep in mind while traveling to help you take care of your skin:
1. Clean your face daily, washing off toxins and free radicals from your journey. The skin can absorb other toxins in new environments, and you want to make sure your face stays clean. Do not use soap on your face. Bring a cleanser that is gentle for your skin and good for your skin type. (Please see my recent post on how to determine your skin type.)
2. Use a toner replenishing solution that restores the PH balance to your skin, prepping the skin for your moisturizer.
3. Use plenty of moisturizer that is rich in natural exfoliaters such as papain enzymes and AHA’s along with antioxidants. This combination will remove unwanted skin cells while helping to nourish and contribute to the building block of the healthy cells. New environments can cause dehydration, which is bad for your skin. In a hot environment, make sure you use a light moisturizer, so it does not get sticky.
4. Try to exfoliate upon arrival to your destination. Then exfoliate your skin every 48 hours, turning over dead skin cells and replacing them with new ones. Look for a scrub combination with AHA, BHA and vitamin A to help with collagen building.
5. Don’t apply too much makeup. Wear something that is light and works perfectly for your skin type.
6. Drink plenty of water with electrolytes. It is important to stay hydrated.
7. Wear plenty of sunscreen. Remember the sun is the number one reason why we age. If you’re traveling with your family, make sure everyone wears sunscreen daily. Remember to reapply throughout the day!
8. For the person on the go, use cucumber water and ice cubes under the eyes to waken them up, so you don’t look tired.
Wherever you’re traveling, try to have fun, enjoy your new experiences and protect your skin!

Regular daily use of sunscreen appears to significantly slow the process of skin aging among middle-aged men and women, they say.
The finding stems from 4.5 years spent tracking sunscreen use and its ultimate impact on skin quality among more than 900 men and women under the age of 55.
"This has been one of those beauty tips you often hear quoted, but for the first time we can back it with science," said study co-author Adele Green, lab head and senior research fellow with the Queensland Institute of Medical Research at Royal Brisbane Hospital. "Protecting yourself from skin cancer by using sunscreen regularly has the added bonus of keeping you looking younger."
"And the study has shown that up to middle age, it's not too late to make a difference," added Green, who also suggested that sunscreen use is likely to similarly benefit those over 55, though her team did not specifically assess a potential benefit among older users.
The findings appear in the June 4 issue of the Annals of Internal Medicine.
Perhaps surprisingly, the authors point out that, to their knowledge, their current effort is the first rigorous scientific exploration of the potential protective effect of sunscreen on skin aging in people.
Green and her team looked at data collected in a study on skin cancer prevention conducted between 1992 and 1996 in Nambour, Australia.
The authors focused on 903 mostly fair-skinned men and women who were under the age of 55, under the assumption that skin aging in that age category would be brought on primarily by so-called "photoaging," as opposed to simply growing older.
Roughly half the participants worked primarily outdoors, while about four in 10 were regular smokers.
All the participants had been randomly assigned to two sunscreen groups. The first was specifically directed to use SPF 15 sunscreen on a daily basis, applying it to their head, neck, arms and hands every morning, and reapplying after bathing, heavy sweating or spending a few hours outside.
The second group was not told to avoid sunscreen, but rather to use it as they wished.
The study also assessed the potential impact of dietary antioxidants on skin quality. Each group of participants was further divided into half, in which one sub-group was given 30 milligrams of beta-carotene to take on a daily basis, while the other was given a sugar pill (placebo).
Using a process called "microtopography," the team then analyzed skin changes such as shifts in texture and roughness, by looking at the status of each participant's left hand.
The result: Beta-carotene was found to have no appreciable impact on skin aging among those taking the supplement.
But after 4.5 years, regardless of age or gender, those using sunscreen every day were found to have experienced much less skin aging compared with those who did not slather daily.
Over the course of the study period, 24 percent less skin aging was found among the dedicated daily sunscreen group compared to those who used sunscreen only when they wished (presumably less frequently).
That said, Green stressed that the observed skin protection benefit of sunscreen requires some attention to detail.
"This research applies to SPF 15 sunscreen," she said, "and, crucially, applying it correctly on a regular basis. Sunscreen must be applied thoroughly, with a thick coating, and must be reapplied every few hours in case it's washed or sweated off."
"And of course, along with seeking shade and wearing clothing over, sunscreen is a mainstay of sun protection," Green added. "It prevents sunburn in the short-term and skin cancer in the long-term."
And what of non-sunscreen cosmetic products, used by millions of women, that claim to have bundled SPF protection into the mix?
Green cautioned that there is no replacement for true sunscreen.
"Moisturizers with UV protection give brief sun protection," she acknowledged, "but sunscreens last much longer on the skin and provide more durable protection."
Dr. Beth McLellan, an assistant professor at the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology at the Joan H. Tisch Center for Women's Health at NYU Langone Medical Center in New York City, said the findings add more evidence that sunscreen works.
"We already know that sunscreen can prevent skin cancer and this study shows that regular use of sunscreen can also help prevent aging -- all the more reason to incorporate sunscreen into one's daily skincare regimen," she said.
